The Story

A Lift For The Cure - Pink Forklift - Shoppa's Material Handling
The creation of the distinctive pink forklift was designed and manufactured earlier this year by women employees at the Toyota Material Handling factory in Columbus, Indiana.

Shoppa’s Material Handling, a leading Toyota dealership from DFW, secured the iconic pink breast cancer awareness forklift from Toyota Material Handling’s dealer auction and the $65,000 proceeds were donated to Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Now the pink forklift is giving a lift to help spread breast cancer awareness throughout the Metroplex at Susan G. Komen events during the month of October including the “More Than Pink Walk” in Fort Worth and “Race For The Cure” in Plano.

The pink forklift philanthropic efforts will come to conclusion this coming February where it will be auctioned off again to the local business community at an event to be hosted at Shoppa’s Material Handling’s new Alliance headquarters.

Shoppa’s stands in solidarity with those affected by breast cancer and is committed to contributing to a brighter, healthier future for all.
