Susan G. Komen Greater Fort Worth kicked off its 2026 MORE THAN PINK WALK campaign with a Leadership Lunch, bringing together business and community leaders to learn more about Komen’s mission and ways to support the fight against breast cancer.

Jimmy and Janie Shoppa, who are serving as the 2026 MORE THAN PINK WALK Chairs, welcomed attendees alongside Komen Greater Fort Worth Executive Director Joy Rich. The luncheon focused on the impact of Komen’s work locally, advances in breast cancer research, and the important role community leaders can play in supporting the upcoming walk.

“The MORE THAN PINK WALK is so much more than a walk,” said Jimmy Shoppa. “It is an opportunity to come together, celebrate survivors, honor those we’ve lost, support those facing breast cancer and remind every person impacted by this disease that they are not alone.”
