Toyota diesel power is back, with a new forklift built for the demanding outdoor applications Texas businesses know well.

The Toyota Core Diesel Pneumatic Forklift brings diesel back to Toyota’s core lineup with capacities from 4,000 to 6,500 pounds. Designed for environments from construction sites and lumber yards to agricultural operations, it combines the torque and durability of diesel with features engineered to improve operator control and productivity.

Built for Tough Jobs

For operations moving heavy loads across rough or uneven terrain, diesel has some distinct advantages. Responsive low-end torque helps the Core Diesel Pneumatic accelerate under load, including on inclines and soft ground, while competitive travel and lift speeds help keep material moving.

That combination makes the new series a strong fit for many of the industries Shoppa’s serves across Texas, including lumber and building materials, brick, block and pipe operations, paper mills, metal recycling, and agriculture.

Toyota has also equipped the forklift with its System of Active Stability, an LCD multifunction display, and standard MyInsights telematics. Available options include solid pneumatic tires, synchronized steering, and a sideshifting fork positioner.

More Ways to Put Diesel to Work

The return of Toyota diesel also expands the options available through Shoppa’s rental fleet. New diesel units are arriving in Lubbock and Amarillo for ginning season, as well as attachments like bale clamps. Shoppa’s offers flexible rental terms, competitive seasonal rates, and same-day or next-day delivery to cotton gins.

Beyond agriculture, Shoppa’s also rents specialized attachments such as bale and roll clamps, push/pulls, and rotators, giving customers the flexibility to rent a complete solution or the equipment and attachment separately.
